• Artworks consisted mainly of commissioned artworks and interventions, alongside a selection of existing works.

Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa 2018-2019

  • Collaborating museum staff included Security, Cleaning, Assistant Curators, Front Desk and Zeitz MOCAA Shop staff.

  • Two physical monitors were periodically handed over to publicly nominated, external curators from outside South Africa. These curators were given full control for one week to display video art, text, or imagery that they felt needed to be seen within the context of Zeitz MOCAA. For the final takeover, High School students’ from Cedar High had their short videos – created at the Museum in a green screen workshop with exhibiting artist Francois Knoetze – displayed for a period of two weeks.
